An electronic tool designed to help community pharmacies comply with Florida CQI Regulations
Pharmacy Quality Commitment was developed for the purpose of providing risk management services to pharmacists. The core philosophy of Pharmacy Quality Commitment is that pharmacists will participate as team members in an organized effort to evaluate past failures of quality, and commit to policies that have been developed to prevent future failures of quality, thus experiencing a reduction in the incidence of error in their practices.
The Quality Manager: If You Can't Measure It, You Can't Manage It
In less than 5 minutes per day, the Quality Manager allows you to track errors and "successes" according to the day of the week, type of error, name of drug and where the errors most often occur. The Quality ManagerSM review process leads to productive staff meetings that focus on discussions about the process of error reduction, rather than placing blame. Knowing what went wrong and where the problem lies makes it easier to adjust workflow to prevent such errors from happening again.
The Sentinel System: Spend More Time With Your Patients And Less Time Correcting Errors
The Sentinel System is a pharmacy workflow system and error reduction program that incorporates 20 "Best Practices." While it is inevitable that some mistakes will still be made, this program will reduce the number of medication errors.
